Step one foot in Gonpachi Nishiazabu and you’ll be channeling “The Bride” in that infamous fight scene in Kill Bill, only with less violence and blood (it's now famously known in Tokyo as the Kill Bill restaurant). At first you’ll think you’ve walked into a complete tourist trap, however this modern Izakaya hotspot is buzzing with locals and tourists alike. Prices are higher than other restaurants in Tokyo, yet the quality and presentation match it. Definitely not a quiet night out, the restaurant’s atmosphere is electric with waiters shouting orders mixed with loud music and entertainment, but that's all part of their spiel. Safe to say this is not your average restaurant experience, but in the best possible way.
