Reclaimed wood from abandoned pontoons, teak houses and old factories are given a new lease on life at Suarga, a new boutique hotel with a discernibly old soul. Adding to its wise-beyond-years elegance is an unplugged philosophy (gasp, no television, WiFi access, nor telephones in the rooms?) which give weary souls a new lease on life. Suarga means paradise, and the resort translates this into divine views across the surf breaks, blissful rooms, and died-and-gone-to-heaven dishes at the onsite restaurant.
