An automatic rite of passage when visiting Tokyo, The New York Bar is a tried-and-true icon in the bar scene. Located in the Park Hyatt on the 52nd floor, this bar exudes charm and sophistication with their dark wood furnishings and chestnut floors. Unfortunately the bar does not take booking (due to the high demand) so our advice to you? Go there early, enjoy the sunset and you might be able to snag a table at their floor-to-ceiling windows.
Of course we have to recommend channeling Bob and Charlotte from the movie “Lost in Translation”
Their live entertainment with jazz performances has been described as “more New York than New York"
