“Luxury on the Thames”

In 1889, The Savoy opened as the first luxury hotel in Britain. Today, 130 years later, it is arguably still the most luxurious hotel in the country. As a testament to its legendary status, iconic names in hospitality – including Ritz and Escoffier – once worked here, as did Monet (the latter as the hotel’s first artist in residence). To do as The Savoy does, the hotel offers regular masterclasses ranging from cocktails and carving to afternoon tea and suitcase packing.
