24 Suites

The suites vary in size from 70 to 120 sq. m., and 16 offer private pools. There are eight Suites, four Pool Suites, eight Khan Pool Suites, two Mekong Pool Suites and two Amantaka Pool Suites, all with spacious interior and exterior living areas.

From the central courtyard, the suites are entered through louvered doors that lead to light-filled living and sleeping areas. A king-sized bed is positioned in the centre of each suite beneath traditional lofty ceilings. Suites also feature writing desks, chaise lounges, private safes and cabinets containing private bars. Bathrooms offer twin vanities, dressing areas, showers, toilets and separate island bathtubs.

Each suite’s living area and bedroom opens onto an outdoor area shaded by indigenous trees where guests can relax on reclining lounges under large umbrellas. In those suites featuring private pools, the pool is just beyond the living area. The two stand-alone Amantaka Pool Suites are surrounded by airy verandas and offer generous living rooms and spacious outdoor areas including a garden, a private relaxation sala and a large pool.

Amantaka is located just south of Mount Phousi in the centre of the picturesque Luang Prabang peninsula. Within walking distance of the many boutiques, bakeries and restaurants along the main street, Amantaka is also close to the banks of the Mekong River and to Luang Prabang’s fabled night market and provides access to the town’s many historic sites.
