The Restaurant

With mesmerising views across the surrounding forest to the bay below, Amanemu’s Restaurant celebrates Japan’s culinary heritage at breakfast, lunch and dinner, alongside a selection of refined international dishes – all with an emphasis on the fresh, local flavors of the season. Executive Chef Masanobu Inaba sources exceptional produce from Ise-Shima, including Matsusaka Wagyu beef and prized seafood such as spiny lobster and abalone from Ago Bay.

The Bar & Lounge

Set beside the swimming pool, Amanemu’s Bar champions local ingredients every bit as much as the Restaurant kitchen, serving Japanese craft beers and inventive house cocktails crafted with regional fruits and herbs. Outside on the terrace, the sunken lounge makes the perfect setting for lantern-lit evenings watching the sun set into the sea.

Poolside Dining

Dine poolside, overlooking serene Ago Bay and Amanemu’s spectacular 33m infinity pool for the spring/summer season. With the water temperature kept at a balmy 28 degrees, the pool is inviting even on cooler days, and the delicious appetisers, light meals and vast range of drinks on offer make this the perfect spot for all-day dining and refreshments.

With spring providing the perfect weather for alfresco dining, Amanemu is offering picnic hampers filled with delectable lunchtime treats to be enjoyed on a private beach overlooking Ago Bay.

Ise Jingu Shrine Breakfast

Inspired by the breakfast served to the monks of Ise Jingu – a complex of Shinto shrines known as the “Soul of Japan” – Amanemu’s signature breakfast is wholesome, satisfying and absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented in a series of simple wooden boxes, it includes rice, fish, tofu, miso soup and pickles, along with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Amanemu Wellness Day Programme

This day retreat aims to optimise wellbeing through an integrated and holistic approach. Beginning with a private yoga lesson, it is followed by an aquatic bodywork session to gently stretch and release the body, before finishing with a 90-minute rebalancing body massage.
