General Manager

A seasoned hotelier, Mrs Goh has been with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since 1993, serving previously as Resident Manager both at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London until 2013, when she was appointed Corporate Operations Manager - Asia, based in Hong Kong. From 2015, Mrs Goh then held the role of General Manager at Mandarin Oriental’s Macau property before joining The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in May 2019. A native of Malaysia, Mrs Goh holds an Executive MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Australia, and a diploma in Hotel Management from HotelConsult in Switzerland. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and Cantonese.

The Peak

"A must-see spot in Hong Kong. Apart from the fantastic views of the Victoria Harbour and HK skyline, I enjoy exploring the Peak through an hour-long walk around it. The walk is flat, suitable for everyone. I like taking the peak tram from the lower Peak Tram terminus on Garden Road, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel. The Peak Tram is one of the world's oldest and most famous funicular railways. As it rises to 396 metres above sea level, it is so steep that the buildings you pass look like they are leaning a gradient of between 4 to 25.7 degrees! It is an exciting trip whether you are way up or down."

MO Bar

"The Singaporean Laksa and Hainanese chicken rice at MO Bar are my go-to when I am craving for comfort food. The laksa is made with coconut broth, rice noodles, tofu puffs, fish cakes, prawns, chicken and sambal sauce. The chicken soup base of the laksa, after being cooked for hours, renders an intense, flavoursome taste. The chicken rice is divine. The chicken is tender and full of flavour while the rice, cooked in soup of lemongrass and galangal, is aromatic and moist. The chilli sauce is made from a secret recipe which goes perfect with the chicken."
