“18th century palace on the Place de la Concorde ”

Rosewood’s ‘A Sense of Place’ philosophy encourages each hotel to reflect its history and culture, but in the case of Hôtel de Crillon, the property is history, an 18th century traditional palace which has witnessed historical events that would change the path of Europe, and along the way define the bastions of luxury travel. Following a massive four-year renovation, the historic hotel re-opened in summer 2017 updated with a number of 21st century tech perks while staying true to its 18th century heritage.

What we Love

What we absolutely love about the property and feel sure will dazzle you too.

  • Old school luxe comes with real heritage – the building has housed a luxury hotel since 1909
  • Les Ambassadeurs bar and lounge remains an ambassador of the inimitable Parisienne social vibe
  • The 12 days of Christmas has nothing on the 12 days of Hôtel de Crillon’s Ultimate Art de Vivre experience: think Lagerfeld designer digs, fine food in a historical Salon, rare cognac, fine chocolate, all the while looking good and feeling great thanks to a celebrity French hairdresser and spa indulgences
  • Marie Antoinette’s piano lessons. Signing of treaties. Marriages. History buffs will be beside themselves with the amount of historical events that took place outside and inside these walls

La Fondation Louis Vuitton et le Jardin d’Acclimatation
La Fondation Louis Vuitton et le Jardin d’Acclimatation
"I like to stroll through the Jardin d’acclimatation amusement parc with the kids after visiting the Fondation Vuitton’s art collection. It’s great to have several activities at hand all in one location. The parc opened in 1860 to introduce exotic animals to Parisians. It is still a small zoo today where you can see camels, bears, farm animals etc…but it also has many attractions such as small roller coasters or a theatre for children."
Les puces de Saint Ouen
Les puces de Saint Ouen
"This is possibly my favorite activity to do on weekends. It feels like you’ve left the city for the countryside yet Saint Ouen is still very close. There are great lunch spots and many different markets, depending on the style you are looking for. I have a weak spot for mid-century furniture."

"This new pluri-disciplinary cultural center designed by Rem Koolhaas has open it’s doors on March 10, 2018 in the Marais district of Paris. Supported by the Galeries Lafayette group and the Moulin family, this unique foundation will host all kinds of happenings organized by artists for its visitors, in close collaboration with renowned institutes such as the Centre Pompidou, Kunsthalle Basel, MoMA PS1, Performa, the New Museum…etc. I’m sure it will be a hit on the Parisian cultural scene."

"While most people know that the department store is a popular shopping destination, few are aware of its rooftop. Located on the 7th floor, it is freely accessible for a souvenir selfie or a snack and has the Eiffel Tower and the Opera in line of sight. While a Mediterranean restaurant and a bar await this summer, it is always possible to come with your own sandwich or a box of Pierre Hermé macaroons that you could grab on the 1st floor of the Dome! Now admire the breathtaking view!"
Abri Soba
Abri Soba
"This is an excellent soba lunch spot that chef Katsuaki Okiyama opened after the success of Abri, his first restaurant in Paris. Every dish is excellent and true to Japanese soba culture. The decor is industrial yet sophisticated."
