“Heritage urban chic”

On arrival, a dramatic entry passes through a classic Chinese quadrangle complete with hundred-year-old restored buildings, latticed windows, traditional woodwork and all. In the rooms, however, travelers are brought forward to the modern Chengdu with contemporary suites that are really more like residences as is The House way. Not too big to lack soul, not too small to lack the vibe, gorgeous grounds, on-site gallery, plus Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu as your neighbor. The pandas might just have to wait another day.

Best time to visit : March to June and September to November
